ImPossible Design is a competition for the best design solution and prototype design for young designers. The motive for organising the competition is to promote additive manufacturing (the so-called “3D printing”) based on the principle of “layer by layer” manufacture, which allows the release of designers’ creativity and innovativeness in new product development.
Aleksandra Drecun, the President of Intersection, the member of the Harvard Alumni Association Board and Harvard AA Director for Europe, had a chance to engage with some of the greatest leaders of today, during the Harvard Alumni Association Board meeting, held this February, in Cambridge, MA.
Prof. Dr. Ana Trbović, member of Intersection, co-founder of Grid Singularity and a professor at FEFA Faculty, took part in two panels in the World Economic Forum in Davos, where digital transformation, especially technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, were in the main focus.
Intersection continuously supports the Mathematical Gymnasium, and we consider as our privilege to participate in the Advisory Council of this prominent school. We are happy that during the Second Donors Evening, held on December 7, 2018, organized by a team of dedicated volunteers to which we are also a part, we collected 2,082,028.73 RSD.

Intersection Youth member, Đorđe Ogrizović, received the Saint Sava Award, the highest Serbian national educational and scientific award for the contribution to Serbia’s development in these areas, awarded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Congratulations Đorđe!

European Foundations declared the winners of the Responsible Research and Innovation Awards on 21st November 2016 in Brussels. We are extremely proud that a member of our Advisory Board, Jan Riise from Mistra Urban Futures at Swedish Chalmers University of Technology, is one of the winners of this prestigious award for the project “Co-creation of knowledge for sustainable urban development”. Looking forward to participating at the RRI Tools Final Conference and Ceremony of the European Foundations Award for Responsible Research and Innovation, Brussels, November 21st – 22nd, 2016. “RRI TOOLS” is an EC FP7 project in which the INTERSECTION members had created the South East European RRI Hub.
