For the second year in a row, Intersection happily invites all high school students, aged 16 to 19, who are interested in science and learning about parliamentary procedures and debates, to join us on 7th of November 2016 from 14h to 16h at the Mathematical Institute of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, Knez Mihailova 36, in the conference room at the 1st floor, where we will present the structure of the European Student Parliament project to be held during 2017&2018.

Intersection at Shift GEAR Conference
Intersection’s president Aleksandra Drecun participated at “Shift GEAR – Mainstreaming gender equality into academic and research organisations” Conference in Brussels. This high level event brought together around 170 stakeholders and decision makers in socio-economic and research policies to reflect on the situation of women and men in academic and research organisations.
Intersection at NUCLEUS Conference 2016
We look forward to participating at the H2020 NUCLEUS project annual consortium conference taking place in Lyon, France, 12th-14th of October 2016. The conference will put in motion the development of RRI Roadmap strategies to be implemented in 30 NUCLEI sites in 2017, thus approaching the project objective of overcoming institutional barriers to Responsible Research and Innovation.
Intersection at GENERA’s Governing board / Gender Experts Board meeting
Intersection participated in the combined Governing board and Gender Experts Board meeting of Genera H2020 project in Bucharest, Romania on 10th and 11th of October 2016. GENERA aims to continue, monitor and improve Gender Equality Plans of research institutions and organizations, specifically in the physics research field, and Intersection is the contact point for this project in the SEE region.
Serbian team at the final debate of “European Student Parliaments – Debate science!” from 25-27 July in Manchester
Team of six finalists of European Student Parliament (EUSP), selected during the simulation of the parliamentary science debate on Future of the Human Being held in Belgrade, are traveling to Manchester where they will together with other finalists from around twenty countries from Europe, deepen their knowledge on the selected topics and create the Final resolution that will be the result of this project.
