On Friday, 16 October 2015, Maja Gojkovic, the president of the National Parliament, officially opened Parliamentary Week, in the presence of the media and invited guests. Key note speakers were British Ambassador Denis Keefe, as well as Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Serbia Gordon Duguid and Vukosava Crnjanski, director of the Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA). Representative of Intersection, one of the project partners, was Tamara Drecun, member of the Management Board.
Presentation of European student parliament 2015/2016
We invite all high school and university parliament leaders, aged between 16 and 19, who are interested in science and learning about parliamentary procedures and debates, to join us on 21 October 2015 from 10 to 11 at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA), Bul. Zorana Djindjica 44 in Belgrade, where we will present the structure of the debate to be held in Spring 2015.
Intersection at Open Days of Science in Podgorica
Intersection participated at the Science Festival “Open Days of Science 2015” in September this year. Olivera Cacic Milutinovic, member of Intersection Management Board, was invited as the special guest of the Ministry of Science in Montenegro, continuing long-term cooperation in science promotion.
Aleksandra Drecun at GENERA conference
Aleksandra Drecun, the president of Intersection, was invited by the project coordinator to participate in the Conference organized by GENERA project. The Conference was dedicated to gender equality in research, having special focus on women researchers in the field of physics.

SenZations 2015 – Internet of Things Summer School in Belgrade
SenZations, IoT Summer School will be held in Belgrade, from August 30th to September 5th 2015. Initiator and the main organizer of the School is DunavNET, company that is one of the pioneers behind the world IoT Forum and the coordinator of numerous European projects in this field, while Intersection is one of the co-organizers.
Cooperation of National Institute of Biology and Intersection
The researchers from a Marine Biology Station Piran of the Slovenian National Institute of Biology met with the representatives of Intersection on July 16th 2015. During the meeting partners agreed on the future cooperation between the two institutions, strengthening already established collaboration. European Student Parliament 2015/2016
The detailed planning of the next round of European Student Parliament 2015/16 started in the meeting held in Berlin on 6th and 7th July 2015. The partners from all over Europe gathered together in the premises of the leading partner Wissenschaft im Dialog. In Serbia the project will be carried out by Intersection.
Project “European Student Parliaments: Debate Science!” 2016
Wissenschaft im Dialog (Science in Dialog) from Berlin has initiated the European Student Parliaments project with the aim to strengthen the dialogue between students of 16 to 19 years and scientific researchers in Europe. This project that promotes and popularizes science in Europe is jointly organized in Serbia by the Centre for Science and Innovation and Wissenschaft im Dialog from autumn 2015 to spring 2016.
Intersection at project consortium meeting in Bielefeld, Germany
On 23rd and 24th of June 2015, partners from Germany, Italy, Sweden, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Israel, UK and Serbia met in Bielefeld to discuss the future plans and prepare the list of short term and long term activities.
