Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MISASA), to celebrate 70 years of its work, is organizing an exhibition “Mathematical Science and Us”, at the Gallery of Science and Technology from 09 to 31 May 2016. MISASA and INTERSECTION, as one of the co-organizers of the exhibition, are inviting students to apply for volunteering at this unique event.
Three exciting days of European Student Parliament 2016 in Belgrade!
From 9 to 11 April at the National Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, a hundred of high school students gathered together to debate science on the topic of “The future of the human being” in the framework of the European Student Parliaments project organized by Intersection from Belgrade and Wissenschaft im Dialog from Berlin. After the final debate the Jury selected the winners – six best debaters will travel to Manchester where they will test the debating skills on scientific topics by working with their peers from across Europe.

National Student Parliament, the part of the international project “European Student Parliaments: Debate Science!”, takes place on 9-11 April 2016 at the National Parliament of the Republic of Serbia (Trg Nikole Pašića 13, Belgrade). The national project coordinator in Serbia is the Centre for Science and Innovation (Intersection) and at European level the project is led by Wissenschaft im Dialog (Science in Dialog) from Germany.

Best Paper Award on Gender Economics
The 6th UWIN Best Paper Award on Gender Economics is open. The competition is aimed at all young economists and researchers from the 17 countries belonging to the geographical area of UniCredit. Project “European Student Parliament” presented during Parliamentary Week
“Intersection. Centre for Science and Innovation”, with the support of Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA), within Parliamentary Week announced a new cycle of the project “European Student Parliament” to high school and university students aged between 16 and 19. The project will take place both in Serbia and in many European countries. Five finalists from each country will participate in the final debate in Manchester during Europe’s largest scientific conference EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) in July 2016.
