Team of six finalists of European Student Parliament (EUSP), selected during the simulation of the parliamentary science debate on Future of the Human Being held in Belgrade, are traveling to Manchester where they will together with other finalists from around twenty countries from Europe, deepen their knowledge on the selected topics and create the Final resolution that will be the result of this project.

GENERA project

Intersection joined GENERA project (Gender Equality Network in the European Research Area) as the observer partner and serves as the contact to SEE region. GENERA is a Horizon 2020 project aiming at continuing, monitoring and improving the Gender Equality Plans of Research Institutions and Organisations specifically in the physics research field. These three actions аrе performed by a Consortium of 13 beneficiary partner Research Performing and Research Funding Organisations and a number of associate partners and observers.

Science Camp “Viminacium” 2016

Again this summer, Centre for Science and Innovation Intersection is organizing the Science Camp Viminacium for children aged 7 to 12 years. The Camp is organized in cooperation with a number of renowned scientific and educational institutions, including the Archaeological and Mathematical Institutes of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Center for New Technology and University Martin Luther from Halle (Germany). During the summer many scientists will participate in camp activities, aiming to bring science closer to young people in a nice and interesting way.

The Working Breakfast at the European Parliament held on 21 April 2016 in Brussels, hosted by Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) of the European Commission, was dedicated to gender dimension of technology and science. This event, followed by a Stakeholder Forum, officially marked the launch of the GenPORT portal (www.genderportal.eu).
