The Intersection Youth Team of six great high school students represented Serbia at European Student Parliament project in Toulouse, at the of parliamentary science debate, which was held as part of the largest European Open Scientific Forum, ESOF (Euroscience Open Forum).
European Student Parliaments is part of the Horizon 2020 Programmе, within the European Commission’s Directorate for Science and Innovation. Within this initiative, seventy highschoolers from ten European countries gathered in Toulouse from 7 to 9 July 2018 to discuss the future of mobility, one of the essential issues of contemporary society. The students were given the opportunity to express their views and actively participate in the parliamentary debate and finally handed their joint resolution to Mr. Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation. The Central Parliamentary Debate of the European Student Parliament in Toulouse, this year was chaired again by our member, Neda Živanović.
The project was coordinated at the European level by the German organization Science through Dialogue (Wissenschaft im Dialog), in cooperation with the European Commission, and Intersection has been co-ordinating this project in Serbia. The Serbian team this year consisted of Tamara Ponjavić, Katarina Krivokuća, Todor Cvetanović, Vladimir Radenković, Uroš Filipović and Dimitrije Rajčić.
